I'm sure by now you have heard around campus that the Motley is hiring new workstudy Baristas, but what does that mean for you? To address this I have included some questions you may be asking yourself...
WHY SHOULD I JOIN THE MOTLEY?- By the end of the semester, you'll be in there so often you'll wonder why you didn't just work there and get paid to be in the Motley.
- You will meet new, interesting people by hanging out with fun coworkers and meeting great customers 3 days a week!
- It's the coolest place on campus and you'll get paid to hang out there and have dance parties (while serving delicious student baked goods and steaming cups of coffee, ofcourse!)
- It's a great outlet to get more involved in the 5C Community and take an active stance on issues concerning the environment, diversity, and other such outlets that make an impact on everyone's lives
- You will have a greater input into what the Motley sells
- Be able to get paid your full allotment... during these economic times everyone could use some cold hard cash.

WHAT IS THE MOTLEY?One of the major hangouts on campus, the Motley Coffeehouse provides the invaluabe service of great coffee with great atmosphere. We are the largest all-student, all-female run coffeeshop west of the Mississippi and really focused on our impact on the community. The coffeehouse prides itself on being an environmentally conscious and socially responsible safe space focused on increasing sustainability and providing our patrons with the resources to make an impact. We're also just to great place to meet up with your friends, meet new people, study, party, or just drink a good cup of organic, fair trade coffee.
AM I ELIGIBLE FOR THIS AMAZING POSITION?If you attend Scripps College and receive workstudy you are the perfect person for the job!
No coffee experience necessary...just a willingness to meet new people and drink some delicious drinks!
WHY AREN'T YOU HIRING WORKSTUDY?Unfortunately, we only have a limited number non-workstudy positions available each year and those have been taken. However, if you are still very interested in working at the Motley next year or any year after consider applying even without workstudy. There may be some great positions open just for you! Again, we apologize for the lack of jobs available for non-workstudy and truly hope to hear from you in years to come!
